Jessica Riggs (Mrs. Snohomish County), Lisa Quast (Mrs. Issaquah) and Tamara DePorter (Mrs. Seattle) joined me on a road trip to Lake Oswego, Oregon for a pageant training workshop hosted by Leslie Nardini (Director of the Oregon International Pageants). We had a great time networking with contestants from Miss America, Miss USA, International and Beauties of America pageants. Presenters included Debra Gilmour (2009 Beauties of America's 50's), Cholee Thompson (owner of Ryan Artists, one of the top modeling and talent agencies in the Northwest), Suzy Bootz (Mrs. International 2006 and pageant coach), Cherie Wimberly (top model and author of The Ultimate Pageant Notebook), Jeron Kerridge (Physique Specialist) and Cara Nardini (Miss Oregon Teen USA 2010).

Miss Asian Pacific Northwest Pageant

I had the honor of attending the first Miss Asian Pacific Northwest Pageant and crowning their winner. The pageant was held in the ballroom of the Snoqualmie Casino. Additional photos can be viewed at Alvin Nguyen Photography.
